    I had thought today would be the hottest day of this stretch but tomorrow probably does hit 100, today probably only 96/97. FWIW my parents near Dallas' high yesterday was 81. They've only hit 95 once, no 100s. Latest ever to not hit 100, and one of the coolest Junes on record. But yeah the climate's not changing. We are the new SE but susceptible to higher temps due to latitude (like Portanld is facing - you see they hit 116 yesterday?1).

    The Texas issue is the heat buildup. It was 102 but the ground wasn’t fully summarized so it wasn’t radiating heat like it does in mid July through September. That’s what gets you ha.

    I remember than Feb 24 2017 day because a friend got married. They rushed that morning to move the wedding outside to relish in the lone opportunity for an outdoor wedding sans coats in February.

    I’m currently in Chicago. Supposed to land in Baltimore at 1:20. AA cancelled my rebooked flight last night so I said F it and booked a Southwest flight out of Dallas Love Field and my wife is driving in the rain to pick me up.

    I said F$&@ it and bought a Southwest flight into BWI tomorrow late morning. I’m not doing this dance again and just connecting flight tomorrow was through Charlotte and they’re gonna have atrocious weather all day so I’m sure that gets cancelled. It’s just money. Can’t take it with ya.
