    The FFW text says the expect .75-1.25" rain over the next hour, and up to 1-3" more for the area.

    Closing in on 1.2". It's mostly light rain, then picks up for 5 mins, then gets light again ... so far.

    I’m going on a limb and disagreeing. It’ll be nasty and some creeks and roads will flood but I don’t think it‘ll be much worse than a severe 1 hour long storm that drops 2.5” rain. A lot of rain will fall. But 6” isn’t devastating. Edit: I don’t mean to downplay this event. I just don’t think it’ll be catastrophic-places will definitely flood.

    Anecdotal - so far today every storm is dying out as it moves northeast of Chambersburg.

    Yup. Multiple disaster areas around the NW suburbs there. We were out that way 2 weeks ago amd it’s rough.
