Turned out a perfect day for gardening in a hoodie. No rain again (had a few minutes of drizzle)so ground was soft but not too muddy. Sun broke through even for a few minutes a bit ago. Just got back from a 1.5 hour riverfront walk.
No rain since very early Saturday am but there is a little shower on the other side of the mountain that I hope gets here. I don’t wanna water my potted plants today!
I don’t like disagreeing with CTP but I really don’t see much precip at all hitting MDT. Maybe a tenth of an inch sometime in the mornings but it looks dry after like noon.
They keep delaying the rain start Friday - it's now 4 p.m., was 11 a.m. yesterday morning) and cutting it off earlier Saturday (and overall lowering chances). Interesting.
Those Long Park pics are classic microburst stuff. Impossible to forecast, always hope it hits where no one lives. In this case, it hit a perfect location since it's surrounded by neighborhoods and businesses.
