  1. I watched that hole develop on radar, HBG all the way to you was it before the backside cratered.
  2. This is throwing down some heavy, heavy rain.
  3. Maybe he has one of those electric John Deere things for little kids - those are plastic tires iirc so live on that prayer.
  4. The rubber tires ground him, he's good.
  5. Some of the storms north of HBG have severe warnings with them now.
  6. @Itstrainingtime I should clarify - I'm talking mostly about tornadic or large hail creation storms. Lines definitely can pop, but you usually need discrete for the real scary stuff (Derichos and the like notwithstanding!). The stuff out west isn't lining up really, so someone will get some severe wx around here.
  7. This should help. It's a VERY good primer on severe wx for imo, esp for idiots like myself! http://thevane.gawker.com/what-is-a-supercell-thunderstorm-1564133584 The front line def can but the chances of that are less than discrete cells popping due to instability.
  8. If you want severe, you don’t want a line ahead. It kills any instability.
  9. I'm skeptical on any widespread rain for this area today. It's going to be very hit or miss popup stuff. Friday looks like a decent rain, though.
  10. Well to be fair that's when tickets become hard to get and very expensive in Boston (started occuring before 04) and the O's started sucking so tickets were cheap and easily available.
  11. There are bad fans everywhere, unfortunately. Philly def cherishes it.
  12. Had a glass beer bottle thrown at my wife at a Phillies game. Had a guy try to burn me with his cigarette walking on the Clemente bridge post-Pirates game. Both can F off.
  13. This week is a roller coaster of weather. Raw yesterday, 80 and kinda humid today, blazing hot tomorrow with rain, Thursday looks calm, heavy rain Friday, cold Saturday, Sunday and Monday looking quite ideal.
  14. About exactly what I figured I got too (my gauge broke, damn groundhog)
  15. Sun's trying to poke through now but that was a really nice morning/early afternoon of very light rain/mist and then a little tail-in light rain. Probably got more than .2" which is much needed.
  16. I'm guessing this big area of moderate rain from State College west missing most all of the LSV. It's trajectory doesn't get it on the other side of the hills it appears.
  17. There is water falling from the sky. What is this phenomenon called? It's very light but I'll take it!
  18. I’m skeptical on rain tomorrow doing anything but getting some dirt wet, but not muddy. Like ..05” stuff. Maybe the weekend we can finally get some decent precip.
  19. Funny, that’s what we were there for!
  20. Just got home and it’s 91 here. Car hit 93 near Towson.
