    Found out today I'm missing a few shingles - no one can fix of course by tomorrow. So new roof for me I guess once the wind catches the rest and rips it to shreds. F*ck wind.

    I was at an event with him the week before Thanksgiving - I have no affiliation of course like anyone from PA but he was a nice man. Very sad news, especially on this anniversary of the catch.

    RGEM is a shit model, don’t ever forget that. That said the 0z GFS gives MDT a good 7” via kuchera (and up to 9” put in MAG land) with the anafrontal. I don’t believe it but it’s there. Just as the NAM gives us none.

    System seems to have cut back out in the Midwest quite a lot in some regions. Wonder if it ultimately won’t get as low pressure as we saw late yesterday and earlier today.

    @Bubbler86 am I crazy or is the wind a bit slack here - IE gusts just into the upper 40s only and sustained around 20 or so? Looks like that major element has jogged north a bit.

    For the first time in a week CTP has dropped the word snow entry from my grid for Thursday and Friday. Thursday am has rain and freezing rain, then just solid rain. The biggest impact in this bullshit storm will be the wind, widespread power outages and creek/urban flooding.

    Our Friday temp difference will be wild. But not as wild as Houston, Texas on Thursday! High of 71, low of 19. High in Amarillo that day is 16.

    Great write up. CTP's 2 pm update specifically mentions the drying out part that you wrote and how they don't expect any frozen precip in the LSV Friday. It really, really sucks we're going to a driving rain storm and then roughly 12 hours later it'll be 15 f'n degrees.

    Haven’t looked at 12z runs but that’s sacked back from what I saw earlier. 10m had 55kt if we don’t get anything over 35 I’ll consider than a win(d).
