    I'm nervous of all my facia and siding blowing off. It looks absolutely gnarly wind-wise.

    Back to weather, they can go ahead and hoist high wind warnings everyone Chicago east, Richmond VA north i think. We look to be sustained around 50-55 mph if I'm reading correctly for hours and hours.

    Agreed. Flash freezes with strong, dangerous winds is a quite scary. It f’n sucks out of this next week winds will be the biggest story and not frozen precip.

    Im not sold on a front end thump but back end looks solid. What sucks is timing - anyone with travel plans Christmas Eve is probably f’d.

    So my storm is going to turn into a minor rain event followed by a high wind warning for two days starting Christmas Eve? Awful.

    If we miss this 22-24 window we might end the season at MDT worse than the disaster that was last season. January I think will be a huge warm bust.

    Texas won the ncaa volleyball championship. Hook ‘em!

    My guess is we lose it Sunday and part of Monday mostly but by Wednesday it’s kicked back in for a snow bomb for us.

    Had around 1.4” rain today, with .1” snow and prob .2” sleet.

    We had snow for about 25 minutes earlier. My mulch and some of my vinca are still white.

    Seems it's back to all rain now so should clear up pretty quickly as temps continue to rise.
