    It hadn't been too bad until then, gusts into the low 30s but sustained probably around 20. That was a weird little push, back down to what we've had since overnight now. Tomorrow doesn't look noticeably less windy.

    Really strong winds the last 5 minutes. 45 or so sustained. Didn't expect that strong.

    Can you look and compare temps? It's not so much the lack of snow (although NYC is still shut out with a legit chance they don't get a flake). It just seems we have SO MANY 10+ AN days. I've had to put on a actual coat 6 or so days this winter. It's a damn travesty.

    Don't worry we'll get a foot of snow on March 28 to make the average look like it was a fair winter.

    Bugs are out today. Saw a ton on my walk along the river and at the house. 56 was my high. Probably start seeing mosquitoes next week with the warmth. I miss real winters but they might never coming back during our lifetimes …

    Clearfield has a wind advisory for Thursday/Friday but not the LSV, even though winds look identical. Weird.

    You can reach the Sierra Nevadas by car. Go through Texas and get real barbecue too - bonus!

    No joke. Zero wind here or in Downingtown and it was really nice out with very little chill.

    Went to Victory in Downingtown and set out in the patio. Beautiful day. Got home and did an hour of garden cleanup - getting ready for spring since we probably only get 2-3 more nights of actual bitter cold weather, if that. No arctic air anywhere in sight. 51 was my high. Felt great working outside on a long sleeve T-shirt.

    Probably hits 50 at MDT the next 6 days. A few over 55 maybe even. The year of no winter minus like 6 days continues.
