  1. SPC has a T-storm watch but for the border south. A bit unusual the majority of a tornado watch isn't within a T-storm watch up in these parts.
  2. I disagree actually today - parameter are there regardless of sun.
  3. Those storms out west are going to hit gasoline in the LSV they aren't seeing already. Yikes.
  4. That line out by Johnstown is what to watch. It’s already strengthening.
  5. It’s actually gotten darker and thicker cover the last 30 minutes. Storms should strengthen as they approach but HBG and environs might not see the potential.
  6. You able to pull skew data (and translate to layman terms ha) for MDT?
  7. And we have sun poking through (briefly for now, but the glowing death ball is there)
  8. Take a look at satellite and you can see it starting to thin out.
  9. Last night I had thought the BWI environs would be better for storms today, but I think Harrisburg SE right past the MD line is the center area for the bow structures. Conditions are primed.
  10. Should be getting a thunderstorm and tornado watch pretty soon, we're 4 or so hours from game tipoff.
  11. Don't need much sun today to pop supercells. Ingredients (and latent heat) are there. Even an hour would greatly aid in development.
  12. Enhanced area is for 30% Wind, 15% Hail, 5% TOR I expected higher tornado chances. Things are very favorable for destructive winds (70+ mph).
  13. That MCS looks like it’s going south of Michigan which has impacts on us tomorrow.
  14. Friday looks breezy. Winds nearing 30 occasionally.
  15. I had no idea it was going to rain. Nice little shower here (bordering on moderate-heavy).
  16. It's a waiting game until we see what happens in Michigan, really. Conditions aren't ripe on their own, need that to cooperate to see anything severe. It's tough to wait lol
  17. The issue is if you're asymptomatic you can still spread to others. I couldn't give a shit less about an adult who dies who decided not to get a proven vaccine because Darwin awards have to go to somebody and the country could use less people. But Covid is known to cause heart issues in young kids who can't be vaccinated yet and I don't want to ever jeopardize a child. Full vaccination significantly protect you, but all vaccines show diminished effectiveness against Delta, compared to other versions of the virus. It's likely rare, but it's a thing and I don't ever want to lead to a sick kiddo. This will be lone post on this topic. Back to weather - two months until we will be in full fall (aside from some hot days here or there)!
  18. Do you agree with me it doesn't feel that bad today? Maybe it's the lack of humidity, breeze and the fact I haven't had to be in the sun itself but did some weeding at lunch and it wasn't too bad IMO.
  19. Covid cases in PA have taken back off (basically 1,000 today - six times the month's daliy average). Delta is gonna ravage the unvaccinated areas of this state (I can name counties, but I'll be nice)
  20. Some do, but some also pay to eat at Old Country Buffet so, ya know.
  21. 90 on the nose at 1 p.m. Thankfully there's no humidity so it's not too bad in the shade. And in 2-3 weeks we'll really start noticing the sun strength difference midday.
