  1. I hear you, I'm not fully onboard and hate rooting for weaker scenarios for Ice/Snow, It would be a whole lot better if we could get the whole trough further east with a low riding up it with the region being on the west of its track but not likely.
  2. Somebody piss in your eggnog? All i see is some in here discussing the possibilities rather then closing the blinds on another full blown cutter to Hudson Bay, The air mass once again is marginal but i mentioned it yesterday as some of these OP models had a flatter look that this could end up being a SWFE if it works out, Going to need to continue to see more changes and ensembles get onboard.
  3. I was going to just make this comment after going thru the last few pages when you posted that Euro H5 map that it looked like the Euro playing into its bias of hanging back the energy SW as the northern stream s/w runs out ahead of it.
  4. Looking at the sideways france UKMO maps, It looks SWFE'ish at hr 144.
  5. It may be a tougher task down your way but we are getting into the time frame here where we can score on a marginal air mass..
  6. Get the GEFS and the EPS ensembles on board, The 12z op Euro made a move to a flatter solution but its not going to make shifts, It will be a slower death towards something better if at all.
  7. NY is a different planet, Literally and figuratively to try to compare to here.
  8. That’s terrible for NW Maine at this juncture, I’m usually riding up there NYE.
  9. This is what we get when the weather sucks, Hate to see it.
  10. I thing he had a heart attack, Probably from shoveling, He was what my dad use to say was an odd duck.
  11. Go all James Harrison on him, I had a neighbor that use to shovel it into the street to melt, He had passed away a few years back.
  12. It ran the northern stream s/w out ahead like the GFS @hr 120 but did not phase any of the southern stream and left it behind, At any rate, It looks to be heading into a more positive direction.
  13. We don't have a northern stream s/w trying to cut to Hudson Bay with this next one so that's a plus.
  14. Not as much of an early phase with the northern stream allowed the s/w down south to get further east.
  15. 12z GFS a little flatter with the NY system this run, Looks pretty icy actually for some in NNE.
