  1. Never even saw anything past 9" here, And that was back on 12/17, The grinch set the tone for the remainder.
  2. Local trails were open 10 days, I would have to say that is a very poor season.

  4. Easy winter grade here, 6th letter in the alphabet, Going to be a lot of black ice overnight and frozen vehicles in the morning tomorrow.
  5. Great day yesterday out on the trails, Rode 185 mi, Started snowing around 11 am as we were over by Coburn Mtn on our way to the Birches for lunch on Moosehead Lake, Vis was down to 1/8 mi for a good portion of our ride between 11-2 pm, Got back to camp around 5:00 pm and had 2.5" of snow on my truck's tonneau cover.
  6. Hah yeah, I need more then that too, Its a ratter right now.
  7. And even then, I would not venture out there onto the ice.
  8. I think i'm representing the bottom of the Maine folks on snow totals this season, Usually i can hang pretty well with you Tom or be slightly better.............
  9. Very seldom Sebago will totally freeze over too, As seen in that pic, Pretty tough freezing the middle of the lake at a depth of 315' besides the fact on a windy day you can have 3-5' waves, Not going to make any ice in those conditions.
  10. Looking at the receding snow pack on your driveway is the perfect example of what happens this time of year with the higher sun angle, It affects road crossings and the higher ground that is exposed to the sunshine up here when snowmobiling, That is why unless you have a deep pack, March gets to be to late to ride up here unless you ride off trail in the woods, Jan-Feb is really critical to building the pack for riding, We virtually lost both those months this year.
  11. It sure is solid, Its like trying to melt a glacier after some of these most recent sleet bombs we've had, The highest my pack has been this winter is 12" and i'm around 8-9" now.
  12. I like this one better, It shows how little pack there is along the coast and coastal plain for February.
  13. Time to sell as it fell short of expectations.
