  1. Creeping upwards slowly, Now 38°F and looks like we may be starting to mix out as it just jumped to 42°F.........lol
  2. It would be helpful if we had more ridging out ahead of this too, But that just may be some spacing issues from today's that keeps it a bit flatter and east, But when you want some help from a SE ridge we don't have any.
  3. What i keep in the back of my mind is keeping an eye to see if it starts to consolidate more going forward and starts to lose more of the IVT look that it has had in previous runs especially yesterday.
  4. 18z GFS was a slight improvement again @H5, Don't care what it shows right now at the surface.
  5. With the way the Euro has been, Are you trusting it 100%?
  6. I never use pivotal for that, Its terrible to toggle.
  7. That has been the direction it has gone in the last few cycles, If that continues, We start getting the surface low closer too.
  8. As we get closer, I would think its right, I mean, That wasn't totally zoinked like it can be, But its been a trend the last 4 cycles to improve @H5.
  9. This was an overall better outcome with an expansion of the precip field further west.
  10. A couple more tics in that direction and we start getting back to a few days ago.
  11. 18z Nam is really digging the trough further south this run, That's what we want to continue seeing.
  12. Definitely, A +2 or 3 in Jan up here is still below freezing so its a non factor as we get into Jan-Feb as far as temps go, But we want a wet pattern too.
  13. Discussion for another thread but i don't think anyone wants to see a dry pattern in winter.
  14. Right now, I don't expect much if any unless this keeps ticking west on upcoming runs, Its rare for the IVT here as well, Certainly not going to rely on it to unfold.
  15. It try's too inject more northern stream energy, But you don't get it to capture and close off until its well north of here, That's why i want to see it keep digging.
  16. I would too, We just need the northern stream to keep digging SE to get that surface low back further west, That's one of the keys and for it to stay amped up as well, Heights out ahead were somewhat better too so a combo of all of it.
  17. It could be real, But you will never know where it ends up, And i'm not relying on it to get snow.
  18. Need to get rid of that IVT look that keeps popping up every run up here, So keep backing the slp in.
  19. A few more tics back west in the upcoming runs and this would end up advisory snow and some warning snows away from the immediate coast if the Nam is right.
