The bomb scenario that the models had earlier is off the table now as the southern stream s/w gets left behind by all guidance and comes in as two pieces, One with the northern stream as a weak wave on Friday, And the other with the southern stream s/w that was left behind and ejects into the NE off of NJ late weekend.

To bad the air mass is garbage up here, GFS is turning the weekend system into more of a SWFE for the 28th.

I really have not looked at very much of this as it was not looking very good the last few days of models and i've been rather busy so just started looking, But i don't think the Ukie ever had this as snow at all.

To early in the season to rely on snow from a southern stream s/w with no cold air in the northeast.

Pretty much a nothing burger for Fri-Sat, Then when the s/w does eject out of the south, The air mass will to warm for anything but rain its seems.

12z Euro looks more like the GFS now, Leaves behind the southern stream s/w in Texas and just has a weak northern stream s/w late day friday.

GFS pushes it out to Sunday now the last few cycles.

Down to 15.3°F overnight, Stayed quite breezy so we didn't radiate like we could have.

Quite a difference in solutions on the models when you get the northern stream to phase with the s/w in the southern stream or it gets delayed when it doesn't phase but all these solution look warm outside of western elevations of the region if at all for any snow

18z GFS back to leaving the s/w behind in the SW, Airmass is garbage.

After the last 2 nights of 19°F, Looks like were in for low teens overnight and windy with low wind chills, Not fake.
