Where was camp? Yeah, I may make that trek a time or two, When i was younger, NBD, But as i am older i only have to travel 1-1.5 hrs for good snow and now go during the week with less people out on the trails and fresh tracks with free stay where i ride.

I would probably think differently if i had a long travel to get to decent riding but that's me, Its not the case though, I'm usually not that far away to travel to snow.

Maybe once i'm off the antibiotics i'll have one.

Correct, I don't care if it snows in my BY i don't ride here anymore due to a 1-2 week window the last several years, The pack is needed for riding to cover up obstacles in the trails like rocks and roots, etc,etc A couple of 7-9:1 mash potato storms in the 3-6"/4-8"+ range with some cold and off we go.

In snowmobiling obviously, There's no snow making, Northern Maine was off to a good start with Lakes, Ponds and bogs frozen and a decent hard pack base, Some were already riding logging roads, After the last storm last week, All of it is wiped out, The amount of damage to bridges and downed trees is severe, Were back to October ground conditions as far as frozen is concerned. So even if everything that's projected coming up comes thru, It will be Feb the earliest to be able to get out there, And that's provided there's no delay with any of it, The clocks ticking each day, With no cold around right now, We cant even begin the process, And its not just snowmobiling, Its smelt fishing, Ice fishing and all other winter recreation plus the states winter tourism is non exsistant because you can't even get to a ski area either.

It seems like every time things start to look good it gets pushed back, There is a point of no return though, Up here, It could be sooner rather then later, We're starting from scratch all over again.

I'm expecting to see snow up here on Saturday, Its on all the models and ensembles of various projected qpf amounts.

Ha, I never looked at the 0z Euro, And, Yes it does, Let it continue.

We wait, Time to see if we can get more consistency out of the models going forward, Need to get the Euro onboard.

You will need to get that snow pretty quick before the Mid Atlantic goes above their climo avg on snow the next couple weeks.

I didn't actually see what you posted earlier, I was at a family Christmas party and only had skimmed the last couple pages, But now that i went and looked back, Yes, I agree, Just make this more of a FROPA on the 27-28th and give that follow up more room, There's colder air in place for that one too after the passage of the 27-28th.

The first wave on the 27-28th is much weaker and its trying to amplify the follow up around the 30th.
