  1. 12z Euro still likes 12/4 for CNE/NNE and into SNE, Pretty cold run actually, Advisory snow for some and warning snow for others.
  2. Last in the series of s/w trying to amplify into a cold air mass, That's probably the one to look for.
  3. Just keep building the pack base in the NW zones of ME/NH/VT for now, I plan on heading north all winter this year and during the week to boot to ride fresh tracks, Then pass 100's of sleds on the weekend with people coming at you on your side of the trail and conditions beat to shit.
  4. There's a series of s/w moving along the front that OP models are showing now stalling rather then clearing the coast allowing some warmer air to hang back, HP a bit weaker and further north, Needs to sharpen as well and build further south, Still hopeful the last in the series in the Mon-Weds time frame can amplify into a coastal system that we saw a few days back, Still a lot of time to work things out, Models struggle with multiple waves.
  5. Clear skies, 25/9°F, Quite blustery here all night and this morning as well, Low was 22°F, We probably don't make it to freezing today, Winds 10-20mph, G30
  6. A true hero, Thom took 7 bullets to save the kids
  7. Looks like a blustery night with snow showers in Jackman.
  8. You know its winter when you get the hr384 GFS bombs.
  9. That stuck out like a sore thumb when you looked at the other sites for Nov, But i had looked at it from time to time doing comparisons over the last year by month and it was off.
  10. Yes, November looks to finish below normal but the sensor at AUG looks to be running warm. GYX: -2.6 PWM: -2.9 AUG: -0.9 CON: -2.4 MHT: -2.0
  11. Yeah, I've been monitoring the models and ensembles for next week and commented mid month this month that we could see something the first week of Dec, Mentioned this a few times over the years, But the 12/3-12/5 period in Dec has produced some of the first snow for many over the years, As long as that high remains in place, It will snow as that's a strong system being modeled and could be at least a MECS potentially.
  12. More trace snow here as well this morning, 31/26°F
  13. Phinn is in Randolph and he had 3.5", Gorham should have been similar or less as there east of there if there is/was a sharp cuttoff which it seems there was.
  14. If that's the case, Kind of misleading really when you look at the surrounding station Obs.
  15. I found that very suspect, Pittsburgh only had 2"
  16. I find that 8" rather questionable with the surroundings getting very little, There elevation is only 794' and others around them are 8- 1,000'.
  17. I have been, Commented back in mid Nov to watch that period of the first week for something to pop, But its more up into CNE/NNE especially the same areas that are seeing snow in this last week i would favor, Still a bit early here but its possible with the right timing.
