  3. i like what i see on the itty bitty radar sim for my back yard
  4. well they should work a lot harder... because i can tell you comcast stops just to my north. no one else runs hardware up this way other than comcast. if you're in the really rural part of the county, you aint getting shit for internet. dish network for tv and thats it.
  5. i dont know how local/state govt make companies like Comcast and Verizon put the infrastructure needed in places where it doesn't exist.
  6. good post! hope the girls first day goes great! YOU GOT THIS!
  7. Beautiful day. Windows opened, Mr Map is smoking some pork and the smell keeps coming into the house and it’s amazing
  8. rushed to pick up the kid at daycare, made it home just in time. phew.
  9. tornado warning in the cell north of Shippensburg
  10. weird, radar showing a rouge lightning strike nearby. didnt hear thunder...
  11. State College not messing with those warnings, almost hour lead time on them
  12. holy cow, no kidding. last i looked it was pretty tame.
  13. yeah, you aren't alone. ive heard similar from my group of friends. thankfully for us, the kid's elementary school has on site before/after care. the will be available if school is open. we made sure we had her registered for it back in June so we wouldn't be scrambling last minute
  14. I wish the State had tried to help to begin with, but he made it clear the counties were on their own. They offered recommendations, and left it at that. And now that counties arent doing what he wants, he's making it worse with last minute crap. Frustrating from a parent standpoint. JUST TELL ME WHAT IM DOING WITH MY KID.
  15. thats good, cause i didn't get shit out of that when it came south, so if i can get something from its leftover boundary, that'd be cool.
  16. WBAL was tweeting the whole thing and showed which counties were indirectly being called out. Only 8 in the state had no in person plan until January. The rest have some hybrid in place by end of October. I agree... schools had to make these plans months ago when metrics where higher but they should have at least had plans for hybrid and virtual ready to go by the August 14th deadline. So I get where losetoa6 is coming from.
