  1. They left my report out for some reason https://forecast.weather.gov/product.php?site=okx&issuedby=OKX&product=PNS
  2. Yeah when I stepped outside I couldn't believe it was that much. I figured 4 or 5 eyeballing it. That's why you always need to get out there with the ruler
  3. This was sort of like trying to forecast rainfall amounts in a thunderstorm except most people have no idea if they got half an inch or 1". If most people get a thunderstorm and some don't it's certainly not a bust. But with snow if you're not in that range people will say bust. But how do you forecast for this? Most people saw 2 to 4 but some saw 3x as much nearby. You can't just say 2 to 10 or 2 to 4 with isolated amounts of 8 to 12
  4. Seems that way. This winter will have a very strange looking snowfall distribution though
  5. Almost impossible to forecast because it's a nowcast situation so mt holly couldn't really forecast 2 to 4 locally 10
  6. Should probably be a warning here but I realize it's pretty localized to the southern part of union judging by the radar the past few hours
  7. Just woke up. Gorgeous out. Eyeballing 3 to 4 but hard to tell. Didn't quite get under the allsnow band
  8. I just don't see that area and along the M/D line only getting 1 to 3 unless all the heavier echoes go northeast
  9. There will be a lot of positive and negative busts with this one. Doesn't look like a uniform 2 to 4/3 to 5 anymore
  10. I think the bumping is done. Now we watch where the banding sets up
