  1. Severe T-storm watch issued for parts of north TX near the red river and southeast Oklahoma
  2. Exactly. So I don't know why folks are so shocked this is under-performing
  3. There were a fair few tornadoes but nothing near what was expected of an >95% all hazards PDS watch. Proof that 1 in 20 chances do, in fact, happen
  4. So many folks threw in the towel after that day that the incredibly active following weeks of severe weather basically got no attention. SPC learned their lesson this year sticking with the MOD
  5. 60% chance of a severe T-storm watch including most of eastern OK and the DFW metroplex: https://www.spc.noaa.gov/products/md/md0354.html
  6. Did the mod risk include Atlanta already? Seems significant that it does
  7. New tor warning heading towards Fairfield, TX
  8. New warning out just north of Waco. Things getting going early...
  9. Radar indicated Tor warning near Fredricksberg TX EDIT: Another one out near Waco EDIT 2: Fredricksburg storm, still tor warned, now heading into Austin suburbs. Meanwhile another is heading towards Fairfield, TX
  10. Radar indicated Tor warning near Fredricksbeeg TX
  11. Definitely happy that this seems to be trending away from "historic outbreak" territory. Lets hope that trend continues
  12. Big D3 mod with 45% hatched area. Haven't seen that in a hot minute
  13. Got a big D4/D5 risk out this morning from SPC. Something to watch...
  14. Significant shift in the slight risk placement today. SPC seems to be expecting some hailers up in the TX/OK panhandle area
  15. Westher has been so nice yet we're gonna be stuck inside all summer. Sucks after we essentially had no fall last year
  16. Do wonder about Dallas proper not being included and some points wets not being included in at least a severe storm watch. That incoming line dips pretty far south
  17. SPC looking like they're going to pull the trigger on a severe storm watch for the DFW metro into eastern Oklahoma & western Arkansas EDIT: Wow they went with a full on tornado watch
  18. Really hoping this is the last of those monsters this morning. Don't need a severe weather outbreak in the metroplex during morning rush hour
  19. Don't like the right turn these all made one bit
  20. SPC added a hatched area for tornadoes in their noon update
