Here's a cool one (at least to me). Never seen an osprey around here in my life. Very familiar cry in the treetops but wasn't sure what it was. I guess mid-August is when they migrate. Gone in less than a minute. Merlin:

What a perfect night to watch the perseid meteor showers. Clear as a bell, and comfortable temperatures. I got too much to do tomorrow but for folks who have never done it it's really quite impressive.

No multi day heat wave here. Hasn't even hit 90 in Worcester this week. Providence was lucky to get a one day heatwave. The sustained low dew points have been record setting however! Seriously how often do you get heat indexes less than the actual temperature? Something to tell your grandchildren about ...

As long as you dry off quickly it's pretty comfortable. If the evaporative cooling gets going with these low dew points...brrrr
