GFS really trying for Saturday.

Love the look on the long range GFS. All caveats apply for an operational 10 days out but looks like an active southern stream with some cold air startimg to build. Whem suppression looks like an issue from 10 + days that's ussually a good sign for us lol

I think that looks like a few years ago when we were in the screw zone during a la Nina. We missed north and south that year.

That was some of the heaviest rain I've had here in Smithsburg this summer with that thin line of storms. Only lasted about 15 minutes or so but was quite the tropical downpour.

Snow is serious bizzness...... In all seriousness I would have to think we are due for a fluke or too. The last few years south of us has gotten hit. Last year was the first year in 20 years that I've lived in Northern MD that I got less than 5" of snow for the season. Even in the worst years at DCA or BWI Ive managed 10" to 15".

We have the WDI on our side for NAO help. After 10 years it's got to break our way eventually right??
