  1. NAM looks good for north and west of the city.
  2. Riding a NJ Transit train out of Penn a few years ago we pulled up to the Secaucus Junction station. The conductor got on the PA and announced, "Now arriving Secaucus, this is Secaucus junction. It's in the middle of nowhere, but it'll take you anywhere." Always felt like that was some sort of real life materialization of an unwritten Bruce song.
  3. Right on cue... the meltdowns...
  4. The axis of heaviest snowfall has the immediate NYC metro in the cross hairs. At 4 days out that's pretty impressive model consensus.
  5. Looks like the storm occluded further south. Southern NE snow totals cut down as a result. Hopefully that high isn't too strong.
  6. I think that's the first run of the euro where it closed off at 500mb. 0z CMC did so as well a little further south than the euro.
  7. I can already see this making its rounds on twitter with comments like, "can 2020 be any more 2020 omg #just2020things"
  8. How much can it realistically cut with that blocking?
  9. Euro is warm for coastal sections. Fair amount of sleet. Absolutely bombs out hr 144-150 drops 13 mbs. Interior does well.
  10. Something something, 6 days out. Something something, ensembles.
  11. Going by 2020 logic and considering most people hate snow it would make sense for it to snow a ton. For the meme at least.
  12. The h5 setup is pretty classic. Ensemble support to op runs. I think it's worthy of discussion this far out. What else are we gonna do? Ignore it until we're 3 days away? We can't help ourselves.
