  1. Saw one of these guys on the Appalachian Trail between South Twin and Guyot in the Whites this year. One of my favorite animal encounters while hiking.
  2. I dunno. 50 is boarder line spicy territory. I guess it depends on your heat tolerance.
  3. Complete disrespect for the game.
  4. Fair point. There's also been some questionable measurements over that time spawn as well...
  5. There's some sort of cruel and dark weenie humor here if Central Park manages to record an inch of snow just a few days outside of December. Just missing the mark to have a 30 inch average snowfall for the 30 year period. lol
  6. 60 degrees in Winter no matter if it's raining or not just feels wrong. If I had to be out in 35 degree rain all day I'd likely feel different on the subject.
  7. Everyone has their first love...
  8. Was reminiscing with my 20 year old nephew over the Boxing Day Blizzard. He said he feels spoiled whenever it snows now, as if nothing will ever compare to that snowstorm. I told him, “I know the feeling. I’ve been chasing that high since ‘96.”
  9. How can you possibly say that when there are artists like Kendrick Lamar, Run the Jewels, Denzel Curry, Danny Brown... this is ridiculous. I'm convinced anyone who says current music is bad is either too stubborn to step out of their comfort zone and listen to something new or just lazy and prefers being spoon fed classic rock.
  10. I never said music from the 60s wasn't influential. Yes Bob Dylan is great. Your assertion that music made now is bad is narrow minded.
  11. A section of the youth population enjoying older music doesn't invalidate current music. Acting like your music is better and that everyone who listens to current music is somehow "unhealthy" is laughably elitist. My suggestion, as someone who listens to large variety of music including the artists you listen to, is to have an open mind and not act like a gatekeeper.
  12. First off, don't act like there wasn't a lot of trash ass music during your supposed "golden" days. There's always been bad music. Popular music is the byproduct of culture. Culture changes as you get older. The culture that affects you the most comes from your youth. The older you are the less you're likely going to identify with what is new. That doesn't mean it's bad, it means you're old. You don't identify with the music. That's fine, but don't confuse the two. "Music today sucks" is a brain dead comment.
