  1. It feels weird that it is 26.8 degrees and not for 46 degree before a snowstorm in Anne Arundel. When I was leaving Annapolis earlier, I was surprised how clear the sky was and how you could clearly see the stars. Foxes, Deer, & raccoons were out in force tonight.
  2. This is a first for him to go low on snow totals...
  3. And fully to sleet now. 1 inch of snow on the deck.
  4. Snow flakes were were big earlier then some sleet mixed in but back to small flakes. Switchover to sleet/rain probably sooner than later in Pasadena.
  5. Heavy light snow Porch covered and sidewalks mostly covered. Middle of the road is starting to cave. Temp 33.1 Pasadena
  6. Beautiful sunrise this morning. Car said 44 degrees.
  7. Looking at PulsePoint for PG. They have 40 active calls for "Flooding" and 11 active calls for "Water Rescue."
  8. Many calls have come in the Riva/Edgewater/Woodland Beache where the warning was. At least 4 trees on buildings, many roads blocked, and multiple poles down.
  9. Pouring rain for awhile now in Annapolis. Thunder too.
  10. Heavy rain just started. Alot of lightning that lights up the room for the past 20 minutes.
  11. Didn't expect such heavy rain tonight. It has been raining for the past 2 hours, most of it has been moderate to heavy rain. Watching radar, the storm kept building over my area. Will be interesting to see the final total. Decent amount of lightning. ...A FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 145 AM EDT SATURDAY FOR NORTHEASTERN ANNE ARUNDEL AND SOUTHEASTERN BALTIMORE COUNTIES... At 847 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated slow moving thunderstorms with very heavy rainfall across northeastern Anne Arundel County, and multiple roads were blocked by high water in southeastern Baltimore County near Dundalk. Up to three inches of rain have fallen across these areas.
  12. Large tree into a house in Lake Shore. At least 5 trapped at this time with multiple additional injured. Some serious.
  13. Strong storm. Hail on and off for the past 15 minutes. Winds really strong right before the rain. Power out.
  14. For the hikers/park people on here, check for ticks after going out. Found two on me today when I got home from work! ughhh
  15. I really like how long the snow has stayed on the trees with the minimal wind. Pretty cool walking around in the woods today in the late afternoon with the sun shining and a blue sky and a lot of snow left on the trees. Usually around here snow doesn't last long on the trees.
  16. Awesome! Thanks for sharing it. Love that spot.
  17. Awesome afternoon/evening. About 30-40 minutes before "sunset" you could see brightening in the sky to the North (BC/BCo) direction. Then snow started to pick up. Accumulating snow began at about 445. Roads are completely covered. Started to get heavy about 45 minutes ago. Hardest since this morning. Big flakes too.
  18. 5.75-6 inches so far. Had a lull but intensity has picked up. Bigger flakes now.
  19. Really like the second pic. I love that park. It is so pretty there in the fall. I bet the views from the overlook of the mountains/river look amazing in the snow.
