    Meh in northern Anne Arundel. Hopefully we get some bands this afternoon.

    The wind has picked up. With all the ice you can hear the branches swaying in the breeze.

    Snow mixed in 20 mins ago but doesn’t look like it is doing anything now.

    Went for a walk. With the wind coming off the water, some decent sized branches have come down.

    Some impressive ice buildup. Usually we don’t get ice often like this near the bay.

    Impressed with the ice accumulation on the trees. Should get interesting if the winds materialize with all the ice on the trees.

    Measured an additional 1.5 on the porch at 6:30. Storm total 3.5

    ~2 inches. Very tiny flakes. Seems to be more melting/compacting than accumulating.

    Flake size and intensity has increased.

    Looks pretty outside with everything covered. Steady snow falling. Flake size is small.

    It feels weird that it is 26.8 degrees and not for 46 degree before a snowstorm in Anne Arundel. When I was leaving Annapolis earlier, I was surprised how clear the sky was and how you could clearly see the stars. Foxes, Deer, & raccoons were out in force tonight.

    And fully to sleet now. 1 inch of snow on the deck.

    Snow flakes were were big earlier then some sleet mixed in but back to small flakes. Switchover to sleet/rain probably sooner than later in Pasadena.

    Beautiful sunrise this morning. Car said 44 degrees.

    Many calls have come in the Riva/Edgewater/Woodland Beache where the warning was. At least 4 trees on buildings, many roads blocked, and multiple poles down.

    Large tree into a house in Lake Shore. At least 5 trapped at this time with multiple additional injured. Some serious.

    Strong storm. Hail on and off for the past 15 minutes. Winds really strong right before the rain. Power out.

    For the hikers/park people on here, check for ticks after going out. Found two on me today when I got home from work! ughhh

    I really like how long the snow has stayed on the trees with the minimal wind. Pretty cool walking around in the woods today in the late afternoon with the sun shining and a blue sky and a lot of snow left on the trees. Usually around here snow doesn't last long on the trees.
