    It's been pretty chilly on Anna Maria Island for the last few days. Do you anticipate a warm up in the near future? Our stay here ends on Sunday, but there is a possibility to extend it to the following Saturday (1/23). Do you think the weather will warm up next week to justify staying an additional week? Thank you for any advisement on the weather for the next 3-10 days.

    I had to go check the street light after your observation. I am not sure if there is any snow mixed in yet here, or if there are just some really big chunks of ice falling from the sky. Either way, it is some interesting weather tonight.

    Just flipped from freezing rain to a heavy beatdown of sleet. Power outages starting to pop up in western PWC.

    There has been a lot of ice accretion on trees here. If those winds crank up, I would think there will definitely be some damage to those trees. Unless, of course, our temps rise above 32F.

    I have been lurking for the last 5 days. I mowed my grass extra tight this weekend in preparation for our 2 inches. I don't want a single blade of grass showing by 4 pm tomorrow. There is an unopened bottle of bourbon waiting to celebrate an over performer or to help forget an under performer. Salute!

    Just took advantage of the nice afternoon to clean every last leaf off of the grass and gave the lawn a nice trim to a proper 2.0 inches. The snow should accumulate very nicely on that carpet. Now it is time to pour a beverage. Slainte, Mid-Atlantic weenie’s.

    I have been lurking in this forum for a few days in preparation for our annual trip to Edgartown. You all are obsessed with dew points!! It felt like a Northern VA October day today on MV, an absolute 10 of a day today at the beach. How are we looking on MV for the rest of the week?
