    Finally got a proper heavy downpour after dodging all the storms this morning. They did make for a nice looking sunrise, though.

    It's unofficially official. First 100F temp I've ever measured with this weather station over the last 14 years. Next closest was 98.7F in 2018.

    Definitely worse in Florida. Today is damn near every day in the summer down there. Last time I was there in the summer, the heat index was 125F with a dew in the upper 80's. Central Florida, not coastal. The days are shorter, but the sun angle is still higher.

    There was a wall of heavy rain initially...Not so much after that, though.

    First 90F day of the year and it's torturous. After a week of 60F days. Thunderstorms are required after this.

    Choked out with smoke right now from the Shamong wildfire. Have ash falling from the sky.

    Picked up 0.11" in a short time. Nothing crazy, but it looked good from the air.

    Inflow band extending southward from the tornado warned storm over Camden/Atlantic Counties. I'm guessing the cloud was probably only 150 ft or so above the ground at it's lowest point.
