It's about to arrive at peak here in South Jersey. Even had a few hours of sun. Let's see what it can tap into.

Looks like some seriously heavy rains heading my way. Finally gonna get rain, but at the cost of flooding.

Seems to be some broad rotation up at the beam elevation, but that's at 4800 ft.

Crazy. Tropical storm levels of rainfall, but in less time.

Actually getting some rain as the storm collapses. Will probably end with about 0.1". But hey...there's always tomorrow. Edit: This collapsing storm is somehow building again. I don't know what's going on. lol.

The ultimate screw job so far. This photo was taken at my location where there was no rain. It absolutely poured about 200 feet away. lol. Seems like these storms may still be back building, so....maybe?

There have been thunderstorms every day, but today is by the far the best. I even got one to come within a mile of me! Yay! Edit: May have spoken too soon. Might have some back building going on.

I'll take a quarter inch and small gust of wind. Tired of seeing those dark skies and towering cumulonimbus a mile away!

This thing started off 2 miles to the north east of me, then moved to the north, then to the north west. I'm a very scientifically-minded person, but I'm about to become a Wiccan. This shit is magic.

This is almost comical. I've been waiting hours for this non-stop severe thunderstorm to reach me. I actually made a spherical panoramic image of the rain falling in all 360 degrees around me while I stayed dry.

Decided to do some minor storm chasing on the motorcycle. That was a different experience. lol. Happy 4th!

The thunder has been rumbling for more than three hours now. Can't sleep because I keep looking out the window. lol

The tornado warned storm in Delware during sunset looked quite stunning from Jersey.

Ended yesterday with 0.73". Brings the month to 3.62".

Storm got a little sloppy, but looks better organized again. Just had a gust front move through from the western storms. Hopefully that doesn't hinder these southern storms too much.

Yeah, it's convenient. Sometimes I get screwed, though, with the president's frequent trips to Delaware.

This storm in Salem County seems to have some broad rotation. Even has a nice little tail cloud that looks to be getting longer. Edit: Doesn't look as good, anymore.

Great light show from here. Tons of lightning across the river. Looks like it's trying to develop eastward, but so far, I'm just on the edge.
