My thought as well. Dews are already in the 70's here near the bay. I don't see the dews dropping suddenly into the comfortable 50's. Might as well call for temps in the 70's too lol
It's one thing we can depend on. 100 here in the woods of AA County. Cannabis plants don't seem to mind it. All my vegetable plants are visibly stressed.
It noticed it's much more humid outside this morning than it has been this season. I noticed less dew on my plants though. Today should be an epic pool day for kids. I remember Saturdays like this. Brutally hot swim meet that lasted until around 1. Then fun at the pool for the rest of the day.
America was built with no cooling stations around.
My truck thermometer is reading 99. It's a normal summer day. Classic summer conditions. I bet the pools are packed.
GFS looks like it might capture the remnants along a cold front and push it through our area next weekend. That would be nice to see after bake fest this week.
I'm hearing a lot of thunder to my south. At least I have the thunderstorm vibe while I'm hooking up the watering system for the upcoming scorched earth pattern.
Feels pretty humid. I have a hard time believing the dews drop into the low 50's. We just don't do dry heat that good, especially here in the lowlands alone the bay. I just want to have a thunderstorm vibe this evening.
I can tell a big difference from my house where we had an isolated storm drop an inch of rain and the area I hike that missed it. Anyway.. were all getting ready to get baked dry for the next few months. I remember thunderstorms developing almost every afternoon. It doesn't seem to happen in our new climo.
I wish they didn't drop the ball so bad on Wednesday. I would of chased those tornadic storms. By the time it was apparent we were having an outbreak I would of never had time to get in a good position.
I'm excited about multiple rounds of lightning. I took off today (I'm the boss) in hopes of catching a couple shows this afternoon. I like Bacon Ridge in Crownsville for a viewing spot.
