    I agree! This is becoming an awesome winter here in our area. If i get another 2" this weekend I'll only be 4" from climo. The long range continues the arctic hammer. We'll be walking on the bay in a few weeks.

    It was fun but was 63 degrees 48 hours later. That make me vomit. Jan 25, 2000 wasn't the biggest storm I've seen but the intensity of the snow and the darkness that fell across the land during the middle of the day made it wild with 4-5" rates.

    I flip to propane when it gets below 20. Gotta run the dehumidifier along with it. These weenie cold maps never verify. Maybe in 2014-15 or that March outbreak in like 2018.

    What a beautiful winter day here in the lowlands. I love a cold, cloudy, snowcover, deep winter day. The temp has been stuck at 30 since the clouds rolled in around 11. No melting today. The frozen South River near my house makes me feel like im in upstate NY.

    Since the weekend is only a couple days away I figured we could discuss the little event this Saturday here instead of the LR thread. The gfs didn't look bad this morning. A small event, especially east of DC still looks to be on the table.

    Gfs didn't look bad. It's worth watching for us east of DC. My expectations are for a cloudy, wintery Saturday with some snow in the air. An inch or two would be a bonus.

    Rookies can't handle my fresh from the garden hash lol Snow depth this morning in my yard is 9.25". Not including the layer underneath from the thundersnow storm.

    I went from 8.5 to 10" last evening. Epic morning out there. Absolutely gorgeous.

    Just hit a solid 9". This part of the storm is really beautiful. The floating champagne powder is amazing.

    I was shocked when I looked at radar. It looks like another snowstorm is moving in. The radar is lighting up. What's causing the blossoming? The ULL or the coastal getting going? Mets? Almost 9"

    I'm out hiking in the woods. I wish I had snow shoes. There's been a very steady light snow for the past 45 minutes. Great mood snow. I feel like it's from the ne wind.

    This has been awesome for our area. It just keeps coming and coming here. It's gotten a lot steadier the past hour. Just hit 8" on the board.

    That's what I'm hoping. 10 is looking like a lock. 12 is the holy grail. Puking ATM and 24 degrees.

    These yellow bands that roll through are some real dumpers. The difference between max totals and lower end depends on getting under the yellow. I've been on a heater and keep lining them up.
