The thing is, I doubt scooter would yell at and scold his kids with 24” if Ray got 36”. It only happens the other way around.

Why don't we get me 24" and find out? I have never complained in a 2'er...I didn't jack in the April Fools blizzard, and it's my favorite event.

Actually, N RI was the area that had some 50"+ reports.  Also, it was a very wet snow so drifting was minimal.  I know, because we had to shovel it from the driveway without a snowblower.  Luckily it was a small driveway.

    I don't buy 50"+.

    Fiction.

That was a really nice looking euro run even if we didn’t get totally buried. You can see all the opportunities there. I do not think it will be a boring week of model watching coming up.

I don't either....was just saying past few days of OP runs were boring verbatim...FWIW.

I lived in Randolph at the time, moving to Westwood about 1 1/2 years after the blizzard.  We had the Army clear close to 4 feet of snow from the street because no plows could handle it.

You probably had around 3 feet...those were likely drifts. Not here to argue, just MHO. I Think the 40"+ was a small area in N RI

Maybe we can get the CF over Salem NH?

I'd still take that, but getting doubtful at this point of season. It's rare given shape of coastline up here, but possible. I would get plenty of snow first and still probably be paste

I’d probably pay up myself to experience a retro stalled out 30+ event too. My biggest of all time is Jan96 with 26”.

I think a repeat of that would send me over the edge lol

6” is 6” whether it’s man snow or not. I could care less who I lose out to. Why is it so triggering? And in Boxing Day you had almost a foot. It’s not like you had 3” of sand and lost out to Boston.

We'll agree to disagree. I value paste more than sublimation sauce...and to me, tracking rain/snow line and cf is more fun than watching death bands and oes streamers run the train on the coast and I95.

You know what you need as the perfect revenge elixir ?

A 1969 stalled out, cyclic snow band backing redux.  Only have less S of Boston to really get grind it in -

    1969 storm snowfall amounts

    I'd pay hundreds...potentially a thousand.

  9. I can honestly say that its more fun losing to NNE than SNE and it's not close....powder and subby holes are so boring. Much rather track the coastal front, rain/snow line, deal with paste and note the changing landscape as I travel to work.

    Scooter jackpot that run?

Ray is all warm and fuzzy inside now ready to hammer out a blog post.

I can't wait for scooter to distract me by typing out how he thinks my area looks good with one hand, while he steals my snow with the other.

    Neat trick-

Need to see more support from the big 3 (European, Canadian, Navy). The Navy isn’t in range yet, I could extrapolate it though. Canadian I’d like to see jump on board.

I think you should extrapolate the Navy out 8 days and go for it.

So 6” from a Cstl front like the 6” you just got? I mean you did get 6”. Not like you sucked exhaust.

Or the 12-18" you got in Boxing day. But anyway, yes...I would rather the rush of a r/s line just to my se and man snow, as opposed to power and subby holes.

Gonna be a fun one.  Love these type of events, because the AEMATT crowd misses out while we rejoice at 31 and nicey icey.

99% of us have no interest in that . Knock yourself our, Mr. Warm ground

Oh look, another coastal low that can't get into the GOM and just meanders away to the east. How novel.

I am so ready for you to jack on events again....at least I'll get the coastal front around for those.
