Two points of clarification...I agree with most of your sentiment, however, signing free agents does not attract prospects...you just draft them, and you actually forfeit a draft pick if you a sign a FA that was tendered a contract by their former team. As far as the fan attendance at the park...that is part of the problem. That ownership knows Fenway is a tourist destination and are content with out of town fans filling the park. Attendance is down some, but not much...its more TV ratings that are down.

I'm fine with it....if they want to operate around their aversion to length by giving insane AAV and the player will "play ball", by all means. I don't love Bregman, I think he's iverrated and boring, but they needed a solid veteran RH bat and he should play up at Fenway.

I actually don't have a problem with that look out west on the EPS....interesting. Its a little too compressed back east, though....hopefully that relaxes a smidge priro to ignition.

That is a vicious gradient in that system...that would also be a disruptive wind event were it to ever matrialize fast enough.
