Alright. My last load of fire wood just went on the fire.

youngest son has been sleeping next to it all night.

Once this burns out, going back to bed. Inside back to 69° and hopefully 70° here shortly.

saving the rest for tomorrow.

depends where you look but anywhere from 29-31° outside, light freezing rain/mist continuing, probably about .3 accreted so far.

Night y’all - I wish you all warmth and power.

Speaking of fire - it’s acceptable to have a shot of fireball at 539a right?

Highly acceptable in these circumstances. A body has to keep warm after all.

Finally lost power around 3am. We'll see what the world looks like when we get some daylight. Only about 2000 out in my utility district in Morgan and Roane counties, so not as bad as I could be. Come on 40s!

Oh no, Holston. I hope you get it back ASAP. Whatever that flicker was that just happened knocked the neighborhood two down from me out of power. It’s creeping closer and I’m praying.

grab your fireball. Body gotta stay warm after all.

First light shows a story worse than I originally thought. I need the ice story to end soon or we aren’t going to make it with power much longer unfortunately. About an inch or maybe more of over hang off of everything and the total amount of ice layer on everything looks to be approaching .5 if not already .5.

any ideas on how much longer this is supposed to keep it up for my area? What’s the hrrr/nam/rap saying?

HRRR and NAM and RGEM show the end to most of the precip for your area @WishingForWarmWeather by around 3-4PM>

Radar makes that look like it is pretty much on schedule with the back end currently in ArkLaTX region.

I wouldn't be surprised though if there are still some flurries/ freezing drizzle into the evening though.

3-4p is rough man. That’s rough. I was really hoping we only had maybe 4-5 hrs of ice left.

I really don’t see how there’s any way at all I make it through the other side of this with power.

but, at least I prepared. Thanks to yall for keeping me educated as always and helping me keep my babies and my family safe!!!!!
