Even under heavy banding, it’s all sleet.

I’ve never seen a wedge this stout, or at least that I can remember. Despite precip since yesterday afternoon, I still haven’t reached full air saturation. I have enough separation still between the DP and temp that I could wiggle down more.

Seems we’re at the point where if there’s radar returns overhead, I’m sleet. If there’s nothing on radar, I’m light drizzle

Very heavy sleet right now. Heaviest I have seen so far at any point in this storm. Still, hardly any glaze to speak of in the trees.

If we can stay sleet under heavy returns all day, we’re in for a treat. That thump later this afternoon will be very heavy. Might push 3-4” of sleet for many of us.

We are getting that freezing drizzle in between sleet bands and you can tell the accretion is slowly adding up

Pretty heavy sleet at times, and enough drizzle for a light glaze on everything.  But trees don't look bad yet just kinda frosted.

I gain a few tenths of a degree in heavy bands but as soon as it slacks I take a step back. What a wedge.

Like I said earlier. So far, every heavy band is sleet and the light is freezing drizzle

I'm up to 25.5. Still rounds of sleet and light ZR. It will be close to freezing here later I think when the heavy line comes through.

I'm beginning to wonder if my weather station being encased in ice is making faulty readings. It says 29.7 now despite much colder readings all around.

I’d say that’s it. You’re torching too much for it to be believable.

I think it's close to right. My old mercury thermometer on the shed says 30.
