ORH_wxman Posted April 4, 2015 Share Posted April 4, 2015 82 was way more unique back this way. i can see for you folk out east how it ranks so high '82 gave about the same amount of snow there as 1997. Actually a little bit less if you wanted to nitpick...about 12-14 vs 14-17. '82 was quite anomalous for the cold though...but the snow amounts were below '97 in pretty much all of SNE save the far southern areas of CT/RI.
