How much additional snow does PHL see the rest of this winter?

I'm going with Ralphie, we're gonna get one big storm. 12-16" more inches this winter. Clipper week this week, brief warmup and then pattern reloading with cold air and you can see the STJ is finally getting going on the GFS. Big storm coming.

PHL ended JAN at 4.3" for the season, to kick the can a little I took a look at the 36 seasons on record at Philly in which they rec'd 5" or less through JAN. Those expecting the "big one" don't get your hopes up, only (2) 12"+ storms during those seasons - one being the mother of all Philly APR storms & the other being the mother of all U.S. snowstorms so safe to say we're not seeing a repeat of those events.

 

I'll go with the median 6.2 for the remainder of the season however there always a FEB / MAR 1914 to offer some hope. Crazy winter, only 2.2" through 2/10 then 32" the rest of the way

Haven't loaded all my files on my new laptop but I believe Philly hasn't recorded consecutive winters with single digit snowfall since 1949-50 & 1950-51.

The pattern of this winter would lead me to believe we're safe.

Well, when the thread was started by Parsley on February 1st, we all hoped there was still a good bit of wintry weather ahead.  BTW, where has he been?  I haven't seen a post from him during any of the last few so-called storms.

yup .2...im not worried...the thoughts HM put out i can easily see .2 falling in phl before the snow season is done.
