I couldn't imagine going to Alyeska and not skiing the x-mas and New year's chutes. About the only thing I can think of that would be more "thrilling"...would be to ride a "Devil's Shingle" down the Cog Railway on Mt. Washington............... The deep clefts in the ridge line above my friends head are where X-mas/ New Year's chutes are. I'll try to find one up closer to the chute. I think I have one from last season.
