  1. Do you need to go back for another? My wife had a potential exposure - test took 3.5 days to come back as well, somewhat ridiculous as I'm sure the labs are swamped.
  2. From what I have read, it isn't enough protection, thus the booster after 3 weeks.
  3. Also this exceeds the spring and summer by 10k. The next 2-4 weeks are unfortunately going to be horrific, only to be followed up by late December, early January.
  4. Unfortunately, I’m thinking a Thursday run at 200k
  5. Btw. Moderna is 94% effective. Moderna said preliminary phase three trial data shows its coronavirus vaccine is more than 94% effective in preventing Covid-19 — a result CEO Stephane Bancel called a “game-changer.” The analysis evaluated 95 confirmed Covid-19 infections among the trial’s 30,000 participants. Moderna, which developed its vaccine in collaboration with the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, said 90 cases of Covid-19 were observed in the placebo group versus 5 cases observed in the group that received its two-dose vaccine. That resulted in an estimated vaccine efficacy of 94.5%, it said.
  6. Lol I missed that since I gave up and just blocked his crap.
  7. Not only that, but he keeps spewing baseless claims that no one knows anything about. The details we have are very limited so to make more BS claims without any data (because I’m sure he’d have all the data to post on a weather forum) is irrational and ridiculous. I’m not for or against it, since we don’t know much about it, but I’m all for finding out more from verified medical experts.
  8. Can we please please ban people who come into a thread to spread false rumors? It’s getting old.
  9. I agree with you. The problem is that so much spewage has occurred in not trusting the science.
  10. Imagine this. https://thehill.com/changing-america/well-being/prevention-cures/525856-masks-and-contact-tracing-lead-to-an-82-percent
  11. And unfortunately it will only get worse
  12. No. It's from irresponsibleness.
  13. FYI, the top six worst states today, as has been the past weeks, are all great lakes states IL MN WI IN MI OH So far, these states represent 42% of today's total cases and 36% of today's deaths. Pretty sad
  14. Does this mean that at that rate, herd immunity is simply approximately 3 months away?
  15. I'm not really sure what this is going to accomplish.... CHICAGO — Mayor Lori Lightfoot on Thursday announced a "stay-at-home" advisory — not an order — for 30 days in response to spiking coronavirus cases. The city's advisory takes effect at 6 a.m. Monday. Lightfoot said gatherings will be limited to 10 people. The advisory includes: Do not have gatherings in your home with anybody outside of your household (except for essential staff such as home health care workers or educators), even with trusted family or friends. Avoid all non-essential, out-of-state travel; if travel is essential, quarantining or testing negative prior to travel is required, depending on which state a traveler is originating from. Comply with City and State Orders, including wearing face coverings, limiting gatherings, and mandating early closure of non-essential businesses at 11pm. Practice social distancing and avoid touching surfaces frequently touched by others if you go outside to get fresh air. Use remote modes of communication like phone or video chat instead of visiting friends or family, especially on holidays such as Thanksgiving.
  16. and of course, a bunch of people are protesting it.... To me, it's like a seatbelt. I'm not understand what the big deal is given what is going on.
