  1. FYI I was categorized as obese. After covid suspended a lot of what all of us can do normally, I changed my lifestyle by choice. I didn’t want to be obese. So I guess I fat shame myself? Troll on bro.
  2. Clearly everyone has their opinions and can make up excuses.
  3. I didn’t have the time. I made the time. I work 10 hour days and my wife works as well. I have two kids. It’s not easy. Its priorities.
  4. Now that’s BS. It’s NOT a diet at all. there’s a crap ton of science behind that, beyond the scope of this thread.
  5. In what sounds like a lazy average person no matter the color
  6. I don’t send my kids, I go with them. class and lifestyle is irrelevant. Yeah I know not all neighborhoods are safe but give me a break. Most people can find 20-30 mins out of their day to do this. People don’t try
  7. Not necessarily. If you suffer from high blood pressure, high cholesterol, pre-diabetes, etc, this pause in life because of covid has more than allowed people to adjust their lifestyles. fasting is a great example. A 12-18 fast does wonders for your body which strengthens your immune system which allows you to fight any virus better. Doesn’t give you immunity but helps your body. for all the talk about co-morbidity with covid, health and lifestyle choices seem to play a big role in the outcome. Some preventable, some not.
  8. We ordered some crafts for my kids to work on. Clay projects too. There are some drawing videos on YouTube as well.
  9. Can your kids walk? There’s buses and trains that go by parks? the easy, lazy way out is to say it’s not accessible when if you try, anything is accessible.
  10. This is true. Exercise is something simple as going for a daily walk for 20 minutes or what I have done over the last 6 months is run more. All it takes is a pair of shoes.
  11. Anyone know if you are tested positive for Covid out of state, does it count toward that state or residency state? Wondering how that effects Thanksgiving travel, if any.
  12. Do you have to ask him? how are you feeling?
  13. So long as gulf of Alaska is that warm, one less piece to fall in place for some fun.
  14. Some of you might not care about this because it does mention the word science. Most coronavirus cases are spread by people without symptoms, CDC now says Most coronavirus infections are spread by people who have no symptoms, the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention said in newly updated guidance. It's one of the main reasons mask use is so important, the CDC said. "Most SARS-CoV-2 infections are spread by people without symptoms," the agency said in a section of its website devoted to explaining the science of how to use masks to control the spread of the virus. https://www.cnn.com/2020/11/20/health/cdc-coronavirus-spread-asymptomatic-website-wellness/index.html
  15. I'll be excited for a new thread other than that Corona thread. Here's hoping for a storm thread mid week
  16. Unfortunately I can't take this thread anymore. Too much ignorance, selfishness and idiotness.
  17. Glad to hear. Indeed a somewhat frightening and frustrating experience when it's someone you were in contact with at work.
  18. Quite a mess https://www.chicagotribune.com/coronavirus/ct-nw-coronavirus-cases-hospitals-20201118-4zm3lthmvnb4xm53yggqwnh2gu-story.html
  19. IL's positivity rate is going in the right direction, today only. One day doesn't make a trend so we'll see. Again, I enjoy those who say that of course there are more cases because we are testing more... uh, okay so today the positivity rate is in the 8s vs. the 12s it was in for the past few days, but yet the number of tests is still around 100k per day. Percentages are more meaningful than flat numbers.
