  1. My wife ran the Olympic trials in the marathon a couple of times so she runs a lot of miles. Her resting heart rate is in the high 30s. It’s very possible and some people are born with lower heart rates
  2. And I have a feeling that will continue this cycle through thanksgiving with students coming home
  3. I wonder if efficacy was measured with just one shot longer term. Obviously the booster helps or else it wouldn’t be part of it. at that point the ball is on the 20. Gotta just do it.
  4. Also I have seen testing sites quoting 4-7 days on results.
  5. I know this was mentioned before. Doctors say CDC should warn people the side effects from Covid vaccine shots won't be 'a walk in the park' PUBLISHED MON, NOV 23 2020 4:19 PM EST UPDATED 4 HOURS AGO Berkeley Lovelace Jr. @BERKELEYJR SHARE KEY POINTS The CDC must be transparent about the side effects people may experience after getting their first shot of a coronavirus vaccine, doctors urged during a meeting Monday with CDC advisors. Dr. Sandra Fryhofer said that both Pfizer's and Moderna's Covid-19 vaccines require two doses and she worries whether her patients will come back for a second dose because of potentially unpleasant side effects after the first shot. Both companies acknowledged that their vaccines could induce side effects that are similar to symptoms associated with mild Covid-19, such as muscle pain, chills and headache.
  6. In my lane, science provides facts. Go back out east. Or better yet in the banter thread.
  7. Then pot kettle you’re too much
  8. Thanks. Check out some of Dr Jason Fung’s work. Pretty incredible research.
  9. This was at the start of covid. I’m down 21 now but still categorically near obesity at 29 BMI, which is a stupid measure but the only universal one.
  10. None of that happens in weeks. It took me 4+ months to get halfway where I wanted to be, which was to lose 10 lbs. this was from fasting and changing what I eat. Admittedly, knowing that covid outcomes were worse off when your health is bad helped to make me stop procrastinating and make time. That and changing my supplement regime helped as well. 5,000 IUI of Vitamin D as an example. Something like that can’t hurt.
  11. Troll on you Know so much yet don’t have a clue
  12. FYI I was categorized as obese. After covid suspended a lot of what all of us can do normally, I changed my lifestyle by choice. I didn’t want to be obese. So I guess I fat shame myself? Troll on bro.
  13. Clearly everyone has their opinions and can make up excuses.
  14. I didn’t have the time. I made the time. I work 10 hour days and my wife works as well. I have two kids. It’s not easy. Its priorities.
  15. Now that’s BS. It’s NOT a diet at all. there’s a crap ton of science behind that, beyond the scope of this thread.
  16. In what sounds like a lazy average person no matter the color
  17. I don’t send my kids, I go with them. class and lifestyle is irrelevant. Yeah I know not all neighborhoods are safe but give me a break. Most people can find 20-30 mins out of their day to do this. People don’t try
  18. Not necessarily. If you suffer from high blood pressure, high cholesterol, pre-diabetes, etc, this pause in life because of covid has more than allowed people to adjust their lifestyles. fasting is a great example. A 12-18 fast does wonders for your body which strengthens your immune system which allows you to fight any virus better. Doesn’t give you immunity but helps your body. for all the talk about co-morbidity with covid, health and lifestyle choices seem to play a big role in the outcome. Some preventable, some not.
  19. We ordered some crafts for my kids to work on. Clay projects too. There are some drawing videos on YouTube as well.
  20. Can your kids walk? There’s buses and trains that go by parks? the easy, lazy way out is to say it’s not accessible when if you try, anything is accessible.
