Got some yellows popping up that want to head into Charlottesville. I’ll hopefully be able to update you guys on the status of the sleet line.

Precip echoes just 5 miles to the south of me. I'm assuming they are virga, but an onset within 2-3 hours would be a little early and well welcome. 38/20.

Consistent banding... one over CHO, over DCA, over FDK going towards BWI.

HDRPS slams DC/MD again. Heavy bands hold off the sleet. Stays snow till 19z.

I guess it shouldn't? It looks too uniform so it's definitely a little suspect to me.

42/24 On our way down to freezing. Thick clouds. Might take a nap since I think my snow window is in the early morning. Should be good jebwalk conditions.

Yes, it did. It was especially annoying because we were able to get flurries earlier yesterday with worse returns. That + some ice pellets + no overhead returns screwed the C'ville area today. And as I mentioned above, continuing to lightly snow with no returns overhead now. Weird place.
