  1. Notable steps in the right direction though, IMO. I'll be curious to see the EPS in the morning.
  2. Light snow in western parts of the forum at 66.
  3. It's actually a great run for CHO... which is probably a warning this run is off. It's 33/34 the whole time and verbatim we'd ride the R/S line hard. One more south shift would be fantastic.
  4. GFS is stronger with the coastal that develops out of tomorrow’s system. If I understand correctly that’s good news for this threat.
  5. Tree branches are a little icy, FWIW. Mostly a flood though.
  6. I'm stunned there is no FFW. It's raining almost harder than it has been the whole time I've been in Charlottesville, and with the snow there is the addition of runoff issues. 32 and raining cats and dogs. 50+ dbz returns to my W and S.
  7. mPing report of flooding 10 miles to my south... has just been dumping rain. Would've made a helluva thump or a closer, if things had been a little colder. This banding is totally atmospheric memory for the next storm... or something
  8. Pouring rain with some sleet mixed in at 32. Can almost see the snowpack collapsing as I look out my window.
  9. Yeah, this is the last time I believe in ZR down here. Busted on that front more than a few times this year.
  10. Huh, some flakes mixing in back in CHO. Mixed sleet/snow, additional .25” of sleet makes my total 3.35”
  11. Heavy sleet. Roads slick. Just passed a car spun out on the side of the road.
  12. HRRR still has wicked icing out this way. We’ll see. My Uber driver seems to be struggling to get to me, so the roads are likely iffy.
  13. Sleet when it’s heavier, light freezing drizzle when it’s not. 30
  14. Family says light snow, lots of ICEP in NW Arlington right now. We'll see what rates do.
  15. Wow, HRRR has some devastating FRZA down here. Not above freezing by 00z.
  16. Family claims 2.75" in NW Arlington, which seems to match up well with other people's numbers.
  17. What is the trigger for the precip to start filling in again? I’m perfectly fine if it doesn’t and I get to keep my snow pure, but just wondering.
  18. Lightning strike west of Hagerstown per Radsrscope. Glad it sounds like everyone got to around 3” or more. Unanimously a good event with more to come.
