Wanted to get the driveway cleaned up today due to the freeze tonight. Not sure if this pic does the snow pile justice, but it's 6 ft. high now and very solid!
Just measured 5.1" here. Also, 4" on the driveway which is more than I expected there. A little leftover light snow currently, at 36F.
eta - I am very happy as well!
I would agree with 2010, most snow I've seen on the ground around here in my life.
Redsky may have a different opinion, I believe folks up north watched the snow hit a wall for at least one of those storms
Still snowing at moderate to heavy rates as what looks to be the last heavier band moves through. Up to 4.25", this storm has been just right regarding expectations - actually at the higher end based on how things looked yesterday.
Eta - even have about 3" on the driveway for the snow pile!
I spoke with my brother in Havertown a little over an hour ago and he was lagging a bit as well. I figured it had to do with turning over to all snow a little later than here, but could also be rates.
Technically Elam, Pa, Glen Mills area. SW corner of Delco.
Edit - I think if we get the rates, temps won't be too much of an issue, other than ratios. It's all snow here now, temp just dropped a degree to 34F.
Getting some light rain and snow mixed here, 35F, DP 25. Is it considered a weenie play to be checking MD and DE traffic cams for the last hour or so? It's a rhetorical question, lol.
