Couldn't even manage to squeeze out a few pixels of virga. Sun trying to pop out with temp sitting at 88F, may hit 90F today after all.

Already up to 86F at 10:30. Good thing clouds are rolling in or we'd be off to the races today.

I bottomed out at 80F this morning. Currently 81F with a DP of 74F. Today's forecasted high is only 87F, so that's a refreshing change.

On the bright side, Mt Holly extended the heat warnings/advisories until 6pm tomorrow evening. So we got that going for us 96F/DP 67F

Really surprised you’re not hearing cicadas. They’ve been going strong here for a few weeks now. Katydids started up this week and lightning bug are still putting on a show. I’ve also noticed as we move deeper into summer the birds aren’t as obnoxious before sunrise like they are in the spring.
