I'm just gonna bump this and leave it here. About 72hrs to go, maybe we can still get some light snows out of it.

I propose a new addition to the weenie handbook: When the Euro and NAM are on their own, tell yourself it's 2002 and the old E/E rule will save us.

If I recall, that happened with the Jan '96 blizzard (and no, I'm not suggesting we're looking at a redux of that storm here).

Agreed. It was about this time a week ago most models were showing a sizable storm for the SE. They did end up with a decent snow event (for them), but the models really started scaling things back in the final 48hrs leading up to it.

If, and a BIG IF, the Euro scenario played out, I imagine it would be a dry, powdery snow and not that March concrete stuff.

The NAM came back to its senses at 0z and removed the 11 flakes it gave us at 18z.

Yes, GFS now showing a little something on Wed too -- not quite to NAM levels. Guess it something to watch until it disappears in 6 hours.

Some pity flakes on the NAM from tomorrow evening’s clipper. Certainly nothing to get excited about, but what else is there??

My only interest in the Flyers now is to see how long they can extend their losing streak and how far into irrelevancy they can fall. Oh, and I just heard a commercial for Flyers tickets, "Get yours now before they're gone!" Um...I don't think we need to worry about. My morning rant: Going to CVS for a single item, like a toothbrush and getting stuck in line for 20 minutes behind some moron who's doing their weekly grocery shopping there and arguing over coupons.
