  1. Autocorrect rocks!! I can be my inarticulate self complete with spelling errors and have something to blame for it. No such luck as a kid— I’d simply get whacked on the knuckles by the nuns with a yardstick.
  2. Yes, shortly after I made my post I did some more digging around and saw that -- hence the lack of buzz around here. So they're the "Philadelphia Stars" in name only. But I can watch football year round, so I'll probably tune in from time to time when there's a NHL or NBA playoff game that doesn't interest me.
  3. I was vaguely aware that the USFL was returning, but had no idea the Philadelphia Stars were too. You'd think there would be a commercial or two about tickets. Anyway, they had a good team first time around -- Brad and Bart Oates, Kelvin Bryant, Sam Mills, Jim Mora as coach. Don't recall why they moved to Baltimore cause I think they did okay attendance wise, but after 30 years, my memory may be a little hazy on that one. Is Philly a football town, or just an Iggles town??
  4. We're gonna need some serious blocking by then to have any hope of staying all frozen
  5. I did see the sun this morning, so I know it’s still there. 46F
  6. Driving through Montgomeryville and ran into something—very small hail, almost IP like bouncing off the car. And despite temps around 50F at the time, there was cat paw hitting the windshield along with the rain and everything else
  7. Thought I heard some boomers a little while ago, but it's trash day here so I wasn't sure. 45F, looks like .30" for the day so far.
  8. Fell asleep after round #1 last night, but it seemed the best lightning & thunder occurred after the storm rolled through. Looks like .90" total for the event.
  9. Blinding rain and some gusty winds, but nothing too severe here. Temp down to 57F.
  10. I was wondering about the instability too. Looks like there was some clearing in central PA on the visible sat while we’re socked in. But last summer we had that severe event that produced the tornadoes in lower Bucks with no sun that day. Just wondering if there are any similarities to today.
  11. One thing is for sure, the wind is starting to crank, 68F.
  12. Getting a light mix of rain drops and IP. Holding at 39F/DP 15F.
  13. The most wintery week around here since Feb 2010! 39F/DP 15F...expecting heavy virga.
  14. Yes, just take the current design and change the midnight green to Kelly green. And get rid of the stupid black jerseys!!
  15. I’ve lost count…I think I’m on my fourth squall of the day.
  16. Don't know if it's right, the the HRRR looks fun later today, 26F.
  17. I know the difference between IP and hail, just couldn’t figure out which one it was. All I knew is chunks of ice were falling from the sky…lol. It seemed too warm for IP with temps in the mid 40’s, but I associate hail with severe wx, so… Let’s go with graupel and call it a day.
