Don't recall what game I was playing, but came home from Wildwood with Zeppelin and Def Leppard mirrors one summer. Still had them boxed up in the crawl space until Isaias.

Looks like .90" overnight. Got woken up by the heavy rain and a few loud boomers. DP still 67F, so the front hasn't cleared. 74F.

I caved and put the AC on too. It's only 82F but the 65F DP makes it a bit uncomfortable. P.S. What are we to do with all these weenies from Greenskeeper? Can we redeem them for prizes like skee ball tickets? I think I have enough for the large Hello Kitty plush, a rainbow wig and some sparklers & snaps.

Not that I was going but got an email from the township that Towamencin Day is canceled because Fischer’s Park is waterlogged from yesterday’s rain. That doesn’t bode well for any mowing plans I had today.

Tomorrow I was going to mow the sections of the yard that have been experiencing swamp conditions, what with the dry week and an additional dry day that was forecasted for today. Maybe tomorrow’s blazing temps will flash dry the yard

Yes, today certainly "feels" more capable of producing severe than Monday ever did. 74F/DP 67F

Might mean nuttin', might mean sumptin', but the 12z NAM and current HRRR are initiating those storms in wester PA, MD and WV a little further north and weaker than the current radar indicates. (Yes, radar hallucination aren't just for winter.)

A few weeks ago saw a dead lightning bug on an outside window ledge. Way too early to see one. But I can't imagine he (or she) was leftover from last season and just sat there the whole time without being blown away by a gust or someone coming along to snack on him (or her).

I was reading some more over at AccuWx. It's an odd summer to forecast from an analog stand point -- third year La Nina, easterly QBO, -IDO -- not a lot of matching analogs. Having said all that, the only season I would feel comfortable forecasting below normal temps is spring. My hunch is we'll flip the switch soon enough and summer of azz will commence.
