  1. It's March 10th, didn't realize we should be consistently basking in the 70's this early
  2. I'm thinking December '99 when Philly got around 8" while the sun was out in West Chester. That would be a fun repeat 35F
  3. I'm struggling to recall the last time I was under a winter storm warning and received 6"+. I'm pretty sure I was under a warning in Jan '21, but the IP held on longer than expected, so I didn't hit the 6" mark. I think South Jersey and the Leigh Valley areas have cashed in recently, but do we SE PA folks need to go all the way back to Jan '16??? I'll have to check Ray's archives.
  4. Perhaps the most underwhelming car topper of the season (that's saying something) but some slush on the windshields nonetheless. 34F
  5. Right. Nothing epic on the Euro, but some chances at frozen. This late in the season, can't expect much.
  6. I'll roll with "atmospheric memory" and set the bar at another car topper.
  7. I’m like Ji, I think I prefer tracking to the actual storm itself. Yeah, I’d much rather be tracking the next Jan ‘96, but that’s not happening anytime soon. In another week or so, there will be nothing left to track —boring season begins. So yeah, I’m down for TV snow/mood flakes.
  8. Agreed. It's late in the season. If we're big dog hunting, we'll have to settle for a slopfest. It's 4th and 26, is FredEx on the field?
  9. Page 4! Like some other globals, GFS doesn’t hate that Mon night/Tues morning thingy. We’ll see…
  10. I’ve been gone much of the day and just now seeing no pages have been added to this thread since yesterday. Guess there’s no point sifting through the carnage that must have been today’s model runs 44F
  11. Seeing a couple of flakes mixed in with the rain, 41F/DP 29F
  12. Umm, Ralph... 1) Congratulations! And the fact it's a rescue is all that much better!! 2) On behalf of every weenie in this forum--WHY DIDN'T YOU DO THIS ON Dec1??????????????? Okay, let's see what Dr. No has in store for us...
  13. There’s a bizarro universe where weenies view accumulations on a 360 hour prog and get to say, “It will only increase from here.” Unfortunately we live in this universe Some fog, 42F
  14. Since this is most likely our last chance to fail this season, let's go out in style! Start the thread now, radio show, dust off the shovels and gas up the snowblowers, buy a snowblower, buy a second if you already have one, brine the roads, buy your bread milk and eggs, have Cantore begin broadcasts from the steps of the Art Museum, CRAS updates from Ralph. If we're gunna fail, let's do so spectacularly!! Heavy frost this morning, 27F.
  15. What little snow that accumulated on the hood of my car has slid off and I now have a snow pile in the driveway w/o trying 37F
  16. Still a coating of slop on the cars this morning--Car-Topper Winter of 2022-23 lives up to expectations again! Looks like .60" liquid total for the event, 33F.
  17. Expectation set at maybe a coating in the flower beds. Clouds starting to roll in, 48F/DP 23F.
  18. Wouldn't surprise me if Friday turns out to be nothing more than a glorified frontal passage...like the way most of our "events" ended up this winter. 44F/DP 21F
  19. HRRR looking better for us than the NAM, but that's not saying much. To quote Paul, "Could be the biggest event of the season." 37F/DP 21F (Will be watching those DPs today.)
  20. Guess we’ll be watching dew points tomorrow since it appears we start out as liquid.
  21. 3k NAM looking a little better for some frozen down here tomorrow than 12k. Seems a 20 mile jog north or south will make a big difference.
