  1. NAM at range but maybe some wet, mangled flakes to wrap thing up Monday am (while RedSky sleeps)?
  2. This! Who knows how this winter will ultimately unfold. But getting three "events" in the last 10 days during what some are hyping as the most hostile December for snow in the history of western civilization can't be a bad omen heading forward.
  3. Flurries underway. All it does is snow around here 31F
  4. Seems it snows when RedSky sleeps. I vote we put him in a medically induced coma until April
  5. A stray flurry or two came drifting by on this morning's Jebwalk. That's two weeks in a row with frozen falling from the sky. Apocalyptic-Nino-all-out-torch-December ftw 37F
  6. Palm trees are sprouting up around Brooklyn, we have some catching up to do.
  7. Pac puke + Eagles beat down = quiet Philly forum on a Monday. 42F
  8. The North American plate is drifting west by about 2.3cm per year. In another hundred million years or so, those warm MJO phases may work out for us. Patience!
  9. Down in Delco this evening, fog thick as pea soup. Wonder what it’s like in Kamuland?
  10. Picked up about .40” from this latest event. I don’t when we’ll see flakes but it seems things are getting wet again—it’s one piece of the puzzle. 48F
  11. It's December 1st and we haven't had five HECS yet, clearly this winter is a bust!
  12. We're a snow town! What can go wrong? 42F, overcast
  13. Who has a hot hand? Someone start the winter thread. I think I did it last year and we know how that worked out Edit: it was Wiggum. Let’s keep him away from the keyboard for now.
  14. Both 12z Euro and GFS are trying with next week's clipper. Wouldn't be much if it did happen, but having a clipper producing flakes in the air is something we haven't seen in quite some time.
  15. The only thing that matters is whether PSU got anything. If not, might be time to go looking for the towel
  16. It's officially transitioned into an all out flizzard. Edit: It's a car topper!
  17. Tiny, tiny flakes, 33F. On the board for winter 2023-24!! (Well, in the air at least.)
  18. 1.30" here as well. Ch10 guy said maybe some flurries on Tuesday. On the Birds...you just don't make 59-yard field goals in a driving rainstorm
  19. Yes, that March 2018 storm was pretty epic with the high winds. I was probably under a warning for that one.
  20. February 2, 2021 may be the storm I’m thinking of. We were expecting a quick change over to snow but stayed as sleet longer than forecasted. It was probably a better storm than I recall.
  21. I think I was under a winter storm warning for an underperforming storm that year. Other than that, I think the last time I was under a winter storm warning was for the 2016 blizzard. Maybe someone with a better memory can correct me if I wrong about that. But yeah, slim pickin’s in recent years.
  22. Bird bath overflowing, calling it 1.80” event total. 47F LR looks dry again. We’ll see, anything past day 5 is throwing darts.
