    Ok. I hate it when MA weenies crash the mag.ncep site for storms that aren’t even impacting them.

    Ok, lll say it. We are going to get screwed in some way. It just sucks that for the MA to get huge storms they don’t seem to need to have an absolutely ideal set up like we do.

    I’d be one. We NEVER get tracks like this for Pittsburgh. It is almost ideal…and if it mixes it will be painful

    From a ton of experience I can’t tell you how many times in Pittsburgh we were forecasted to stay all snow 24hrs out only to have the mix line go well up past I-80

    It is, which is why if the euro verifies it would be pretty awful. This is a track we should have a chance at a 10-20 inch type storm.

    4-9 seems conservative. Even with the euro most guidance I’d like 6-12.

    Lol. The locals are jokes a lot of the time. They had 3-6 on 2/5/2010 when there was already 6 inches and it was snow+

    Power outages would be a blessing for Steeler fans with that game.

    Yep, gives us like 8 inches of snow and a bunch of ice. That would be fairly awful.

    It’s actually fairly in line with all the other models.

    That’s with Ptype issues too…which is just suck a weird look given the low placement. It is over an inch of qpf.

    Especially since it seems the euro is the only model really showing this. The NAM dry slots us because it’s too far west. I don’t think this is even a dryslot….it looks like the “halfacanes” people talk about

    Can someone explain the incredibly odd dry slotting happening to the west of the system?

    If you just looked at that track you’d think a foot plus but over us it puts out less than 6 inches.

    Ehhhhh. Next frames give is that weird lack of precip. Absolutely perfect track buy dry slotting the whole time. It would be odd as hell as presented.

    Like I said, foot of snow combined with sleet accumulating would be one of our more impactful storms ever.

    GEFS looks like it is starting to come more in line with the OP.
