  1. I said yesterday.... a place like Dighton or rehoboth could get 2 feet
  2. Every other post for 5 days has been “low and away” or east this east that. It’s weird, especially in the face of current guidance
  3. Not much left to do here other than watch it unfold I think. Tough to find any guidance under a foot here. Most in the 18” range. Should be a great storm regardless of final totals
  4. How did down near the canal do in Jan 15 and feb 2013? i feel like this has a shot to be the biggest storm in over a decade in some of those places. maybe I’m way off base
  5. Schools cancelled already around here... if some of those 20”+ amounts verify... you can prob kiss Wednesday goodbye too.
  6. I feel pretty confident in 8”+ here up to east of ORH and down to the canal. Would like to see another round of solid 12z guidance for entertaining huge numbers. The Euro bringing it back some last night hopefully means those Far East solutions were out to lunch
  7. Yeah... good to see something trend back west a bit. the UK is a massive hit.. 1 tick away from historic
  8. The low is south of 18z just like the NAM was south of its 18z run. the big jump is from here to 36... see if it stays west or kicks se like the NAM
  9. We’ll see. I was hoping the NAM would hold serve. Hopefully the euro doesn’t pull the plug in a few hours. I think these runs do prove it has the right idea. To what extent, who knows.
  10. Yup. It looked initially like we might avoid that, but ultimately it still happened enough to drag this SE. very easy to see toggling between 00z and 18z that the best precip shifts east. i wouldn’t really call that noise either. It basically shifted the best precip edge from western conn to eastern con.
  11. What happens after 30 will be critical. To that point.. looks a bit less amped at the best stuff is a bit east from 18z
  12. Maybe I’m wrong... but the southern steam continuing to trend stronger is bad, and what’s causing this, at least in part to escape east. It’s almost like it’s dominating for longer and everything just happens too late because of that. If that continues, I would not be surprised if this continues to tick east.
  13. Yeah... his area has been on the line between major or less impact so the changes are more severe there. Hoping we can get a small jog back west
