  1. Kind of weird question, but I know there are some medical folks on this forum so here it goes. My employer changed insurance providers on July 1, and I found out today, that my (not cheap) insurance, inexplicably does not cover a daily medication I’ve been taking for over 2 years, now does it cover an of the like medications that may be prescribed as an alternative. A 30 day supply was costing me a couple bucks per fill and now will shoot up to like $88 dollars retail. They gave me a “ one time” discount code today that brought the price down to 25 bucks, but that doesn’t seem like something I can count on moving forward. Are my only options either stop taking the med or shell out nearly $100 bucks every month?
  2. It’s hot but nothing to write home about at least down here. Meh
  3. Yeah usually when I miss it’s long... it’s tough trying to control the club speed. The hardest shot in golf might be the ball that is in the rough that is 3-4 feet off the green. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve hit it like 2 feet and other times I hit it way over. So hard to hit it that delicately at that short a distance
  4. My wedge game inside of like 75 yards is probably the best part of my game right now.
  5. It’ll be hot, no doubt. But hydrate, sunscreen, hat... we’ll be fine.
  6. Tomorrow looks like a scorcher..... good thing we have a cart for golf.
  7. Shot a 99 at acushnet.... ALL over the place today. Some monster drives and a lot of awful putting. Drove one hole to within 10 yards of the green and ended up with a 6.
  8. It hardly consider upper 60 pushing 70 dew points here a dry heat.
  9. Can any NH folks speak to what’s open/happening in the North Conway areas currently? As well as sites like lower falls along the kanc, is that open? We have the chance to go for a long weekend at the end of August and are wondering if it would be worth it to make the trek up.
  10. The Zillow estimate of my house has gone up over 30k since we bought the house last year. And that value doesn’t take into account the landscaping we’ve done (the yard was all dirt and weeds) and the updates inside the house. I’d bet if we got an appraisal today it’s be worth 50-60k more than we paid for it. Plus living on the edge of a multiple thousand acre reserve/swamp for privacy doesn’t hurt either.
  11. I’m keeping track of how many times I golf and how much I spend to see if a membership somewhere would be worth it. Do you use golf now? Some decent deals on that. We typically like to be under 60 dollars for 18 with a cart
  12. Or maple hollow. Can’t be too far from their current location. I hear they still have some snow OTG
  13. Not sure if this was mentioned, but seems like pretty big news. Moderna Covid vaccine entering final testing stage after initial results showed positive immunity in everyone vaccinated, with normal side effects.
  14. That’s a pretty good looking tree.... spreading pretty good already
  15. This windows definitely aren’t helping. We have a huge bay window that we had to put some shades on to help with cooling. We also have huge vaulted ceilings in the kitchen and living area. Central air does a pretty good job keeping it cool without running 24/7, but we also have a big ceiling fan in that area that circulates the air really well.
  16. Great to hear... any pics of it by chance? I got the same size you got, so I’m curious what there shipping method is and how it will get to me. It’s encouraging to hear you had a good experience though. I’m optimistic.
  17. Playing acushnet Friday afternoon this week and hillside in Rehoboth Sunday morning.
  18. That is actually where I got the price that was over $400 lol. That would have been very nice since they are literally 5 mins from me. Anyway, I’ll keep you posted and take a few pics when they arrive. They are slated for the beginning of August, so I’m a little concerned about transplanting them in hot weather, but from what I’ve read, as long as I’m diligent with water, they should be fine
  19. Had a decent round today at West Bridgewater Country club.... 92
  20. Yeah... I’m guessing it’s probably about an inch or inch an a half... that would probably translate to a 6-8 foot tree. The one I looked at today was maybe 2” or a little bigger... it was a decent looking tree... but $475 is a lot of money. I went ahead and bought the tree, with the 1 year warranty, which was only 14 bucks, so if I get a dud, I’ll just send it back. I also bought a Japanese maple, 2-3 feet tall for $30 bucks. It’s very small I’m sure but if I can get it to grow, it’s worth the gamble
