  1. Nice hit on the CMC... subdued compared to the gfs... but still a nice 8-12” snowfall across the area. And for the “days and days” crowd... the storm has cleared the entire area by early Thursday evening.... everyone is probably done snowing by 4-5 pm
  2. I’m not sure why the duration fetish from some.... it’s modeled to be a great event... who cares if the meat is only like 12 hours?
  3. The old “talk it into existence” it’s basically a 12 hour event save for light snows on either side
  4. It’s over by Thursday evening for everyone... and it doesn’t really start until like midnight Wednesday.... it’s basically a 12-18 hour event on Thursday
  5. Gfs borderline warns SE areas on Monday... wow. Everyone focused on Thursday but Monday could produce now too
  6. Absolutely insane to see 12+ Probs in this area at this lead time greater than 50%
  7. This is still like 5 days away for most of the region... maybe like 4.5 for the far SW regions of New England.... feels like we’ve been tracking for days and the local news outlets probably won’t start really talking about it until Monday
  8. I’ve also noticed that this has slowed down a good 6-12 hours over the last couple days.... looks like a mainly Thursday event now
  9. Yeah... the 1 limiting factor that I see is it’s kind of in and out, relatively speaking. We’ve put up some prolific totals in fast movers before, but I thing that’s more the exception than the rule
  10. Huge hit south of the pike especially on the gfs.... very cold storm.
  11. Temps look ehhhh for the few areas that do see precip Monday on the gfs
  12. There are some massive hits in the individual ensemble members across various guidance
  13. Pretty remarkable consistency on the gfs from 12z to 18z.... crushes Boston providence and points southeast
