  1. That is absolutely gut wrenching.... where did you see that post by chance? Facebook?
  2. NAM goes from Stein to sump pumps
  3. Wow... just had a huge long rumble here.... felt like an earthquake
  4. My tee time on Saturday morning looks in jeopardy
  5. Kyrie getting ahead of the chorus of boos coming his way this weekend by calling Celtics fans racist
  6. Lol... he actually did... he sprayed the toe and then immediately went in with the needle. It hurt some, obviously, but not much.
  7. Yup, you were pretty much spot on. He said if it starts to do it again, come back, and he’ll put the acid on it. I couldn’t believe how fast it was... basically like the doc could have done it in his sleep. Also:
  8. Here’s more toenail talk. Went to the podiatrist.... he numbed it and cut the edge of the nail off. Didn’t use acid in the nail bed.... didn’t want to do that coming off infection he said.
  9. It amazes me how people are so afraid of the side effects of a vaccine, rather than the Long term complications from a virus we know very little about.
  10. Yeah.... take the under recently on rains
  11. I’ll let you know how close to that it ends up going. This is turning into a gigantic pain in my ass. Working outside and wearing boots all day certainly isn’t helping. Almost seems like the area is becoming inflamed and more painful again. (and for those who commented before, no I am not diabetic)
  12. Scheduled an appointment with a podiatrist for tomorrow morning.... curious what they end up doing.
  13. Starting to get crispy here.::: we could use the rain
  14. Yeah... I’m hoping it’s nice and easy. I already can see what the problem will be if I don’t do something. The skin is still a little inflamed, but the overgrowth of tissue now is going to cause the nail to grow right into it, even when the infection is gone.
  15. Kind of manky here tonight... we AC The installing AC in April talk in here is always silly, but equally as silly is people who wear suffering through heat and not turning on the air as a badge of honor. Congrats on being uncomfortable?
  16. I know everyone is waiting on the edge of their seat for an update on my toe, so here we go. . Antibiotics have definitely helped, it’s improved quite a bit. Still very sore and one spot in particular is still pretty tender to touch. I can walk normally now, but if shoes are too tight on the top of the toe, it hurts pretty bad. Scheduling an appointment with a podiatrist to take a look at it, because no doubt it’s coming back when the nail gets long enough. I also figured the antibiotics would be a quick fix and I’d be back to 100% shortly, not the case though
  17. My parents had to put down our family dog today. Had him since I was in 6th grade... I’m 27 now. He lived a long life, but never easy
  18. I think you’d be better off getting in your car, driving down the steeet, and dropping cash out the window.
  19. A lot of the big chains are now coming out and saying they will no longer require masks, and will follow state and local ordinances. A buddy of mine the other day texted when the news broke “I’ll go anywhere that doesn’t require a mask”. It’s simply going to become bad business to have mandatory mask policies. And above all else, these places care about $$
  20. It’s definitely dry here, we could use some rain.
  21. I bought this. https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B005H3N43K?ref=ppx_pt2_mob_b_prod_image
  22. Those portable air conditioners are junk. From my experience, they don’t work half as good as a window unit. What would people recommend for securing a window unit to vinyl windows? Seems like drilling into the vinyl is a no go
