Yankee fan banned from the stadium

He should be arrested for assault

If I was king he deserves a "just" punishment. Like standing with his arms spread and taking a 98 heater to the back.

    Yankee fans suck

    Poor Verdugo

That was embarrassing.  Verdugo loves talking with the fans.  That’s what they do to repay him.  If he was hit by that thrown baseball out of the stands, I mean wtf.

Iv seen videos on youtube of him talking to yankee fans in left field. A majority of the fans like him and respect him for it.

I think it was just a stupied fan that maybe had a few in the rain and still hit his mark.

Porobably got a wtf you doing dude from the other fans.

    I doubt it.
Another blog or 2 I’m on has people sending the Mass gov emails everyday wanting masks and restrictions back. Another guy said he and his wife have only been out of the house twice since March…..of 2020!!  And that was to get vaxed. The still disinfect the pea pod and Amazon boxes. There’s still a ton of fear out there that wont end. I’d hate to live life that way. Mentally unstable.

    Just kill me now

    It’s a damn shame.

As a Redsox fan I dont feel bad haha. Although if I was a Yankees fan I would honestly be ok with selling at the deadline. It just not the year for them, and now with the covid issues on the team. They needed to come out strong after the break. Instead they got worst and didnt even have to play games.

The current power grid has fairly high loss rates. A large amount of the electricity we generate is lost in transit from the source to the destination. Very wasteful. Fixing that requires a large state and local investment and a lot of NIMBY issues in posh neighborhoods with ancient infrastructure.

Imagine the security threat thoe. A nation dependant on electricity. Power grid goes down for a month.

We do it with gas but least we have reserves. How would reserves work with electricity.

Before I met her, my wife was stung in her eye.    30 years later she still feels the effect at times but not because of the sting itself.  When she was stung in the eye, she was driving.  She promptly drove into a telephone pole and went through the windshield.  Her neck and shoulders still get sore leading to headaches.  I think once she hit the pole the sting was no longer the issue.

    Danm thats a crazy story.

I feel like there is too much blanket statement in your last sentence.  Delta is less of a threat in large part because we have almost 50% of the United States vaccinated, and the vaccines work very well against it.  I have not really seen compelling evidence that it acts weaker than other versions of covid in unvaccinated people.

Whats the ages of the kids and are they immune compromised? Its the first i hear kids getting sick like that from this particular strain.

I’m not sure why the mods continue to allow COVID discussions here, even in the banter forums.

Everyone feels their opinion is the correct one.

Every time I check in it’s close to going off the rails. Hearing the same stuff over and over isn’t banter at this point.

    At least the weather changes…

I have no problem with it. I find more updated news here with links posted than cable news.

wish my wife would get vacc'd, especially being a flight attendant. Tried having the discussion again this past wknd (during our 17th anniversary) and she seems more against it now than even a month ago. I let it go cause it was getting heated. I just don't want to be the person that said "I told ya so". Not that it's certain she will get, but I'd rather her stand a better chance of avoiding something severe if she does contract it.

Ya my wifes the same. Im curious if we have contracted it already thoe and not known it. Iv had close contact a few times so i wouldnt be suprised if we both caught it and not known.

That's either the oil pressure sensor or coolant temp sensor. It looks new but those sensors are a common item to go bad.

I have a slight oil leak. That part may be the culprit. I ordered dye and uv light.

I'm not saying anything about who is or isn't vaccinated.  It's just mind blowing to me that it falls along party affiliations- just an observation. I don't wish anyone to get sick and die. Again just commenting on how deeply held those beliefs seem to be- that they won't change unless they become personally impacted. Like everything else these days it's all very tribal. It's just interesting- that is all.

Well unfortunately my wife was raised "vote Democrat". She still wont get vaccine

Well where I live it’s 62% of everybody-only state better is VT.  All 6 New England states  with the exception of NH exceed Israel and NH is close with 56.7%.

Ya cause New England kicks ass. Start our own nation.. again

Yeah haven't seen any around here.  Did a lot of errands in BTV the other day and not a one.  Like we talked about before, the last places I saw masks required were gas stations while driving to/from BOS in a couple of the S. NH towns that seemed to just let their mandates be running out and not fighting it.  I think Dendy said Lebanon was the last one in NH to require masks, also happens to be a huge shopping district with box stores and stuff so people noticed.... but that was all city/town gov't stuff not individual businesses.

Tippy's posts is the first I've heard of an actual business doing it on their own.

Went minnie golfing the other day and place was full. No one had masks on except this family of 4 with 2 children. We all outside to. Whatever makes them feel safe.

Trying to get caught up….so those that complained about mask mandates due to “infringement” on their personal freedom, are now complaining about business owners exercising their own personal freedoms and requiring masks to enter their stores? Ok ya- now I’m up to speed.

If your talking about typhoontip i think he was just caught off guard by the germaphobes behind riveted plexiglass.

the same parameters would still apply-if it's deadlier, it kills more hosts and can't spread etc

Kinda weird how it changes like that. How does a virus know it sucks at spreading.
