    You could check out some hotels around Kingston off the thruway. Your not too far from the Phoenica area take route 28. You will be just south of hunter and up in elevation. It's just east of shandaken.

    Upton just upgraded Orange County to Winter Storm Warning. Basically 4-7" for elevations of 800' + If we could get the winds to go a little more than forecasted, we could hit blizzard warning criteria. It will be a interesting event tomorrow.

    Agree, the biggest concern will be the snow per hour rates and stress on trees and power lines. This wind driven paste will stick to everything.

    Goshen has some nice areas. Also a nice down town in the summer, farmers market, eateries etc. also, you're between Woodbury commons and Middletown for shopping.
