    There's not really any confluence or block in the UL to make me believe it would suppress off the coast with any sort of amplification. It's easy to see where some of the more extreme ensemble members are coming from when you look at the ingredients upstairs and if everything came together.

    Interesting that we are starting to see interaction between the N/S & S/S with this. The ceiling is/was relatively modest considering the fast moving nature of the storm, but to bump my last post and to allude to what PSU said, this could raise the ceiling if we see another run with amplification of the s/s wave.

    Agreed with what PSU said, there were some improvements upstairs. If the S/W decides she wants to amplify more, this could move a bit slower and really blow up off the coast for us.

    They may not be that cold, but they are aren't that warm. It's only 34 a couple hundred miles SE.

    Wow what a run of the NAM, it's doubling down from last run I see. It hasn't performed that poorly as of late...

    That is in reference to 1/30 not 2/2 in the article.

    Sure, I'll take a little stats padder. If mid Feb ends up being solid, we could creep towards an average season. That's my goal.

    Really? That band must not be playing any games. I'd say we're at half inch to 3/4" ph right now in Westminster.

    Yeah it’s already coming down pretty hard over here by McDaniel in Westminster. Radar returns haven’t even moved in yet.

    Yep. I have a few flakes mixing in here as well as that band gets to our doorstep and the bigger batch of bands/precip pushes SW towards us. I don't hate the radar presentation as of now.

    Didn’t look at any of the other 0z guidance. Did any other ops key in on anything during this frame?

    I only live right outside Westminster off Uniontown Rd myself. Fiance attended FSK.

    CMC also dumps huge totals on Boston. It would be crazy to see Wilmington @ 2 ft with Baltimore at 4". If the 2 ft happens, I'd think Baltimore area would do better.
